He said,
she said,
they said
that I was
too different
to be loved
as I am.
And I believed them.
These are the scars
we paint upon each other’s hearts
when we declare
that without a doubt…
our way
is
the right way.

Nicely said… just be you. Let the people around you deal with their own issues if they can’t accept who you are.

Totally.😉Reminds me of a blog post I wrote a little while back: ‘You won’t be every ones cup of tea. Might as well be the cup of tea that you are.’ Ha ha ha. ☺️

Too true! The world needs more beautiful, open, and accepting hearts like yours. Then maybe we can begin to heal and learn to truly love.

Aww. xx Lovely Kat. It’s funny- the loving, open and accepting part is what has triggered so many people around me in the past. People are so afraid to be genuinely loved. It’s the strangest thing. 🙂 Oh well. Perhaps I’ll save my love hearts for beautiful friends like you who are well and truly ready to accept them. xx

That is strange, what with so many people calling out to just be loved and accepted. I suppose the fear of eventually being rejected, though, prevents people from accepting the love. But I think all of us here will always be open to your love and acceptance. It’s like a beautiful warm hug from halfway across the world, and what a beautiful feeling it is!
