Oh, fear, my dark mistress sweet.
Play me into your arms of fright.
Chill me with crooked fingers.
Undress my calm,
tempt me into hiding:
I will rise.
And you will find the truth of me
has no room inside to hold you.
The truth of me flies
without you
darling.

I’m so glad you like it, Julia. This one was very interesting (and fun!) to write. ☺️

Love! You are a brilliant writer Brooke. I’m not trying to even sound cliche at all. I’m just …mushed brain…as you know. But truly..eloquent, unique styling…and beautiful writing..all of it.

Aww! Thank you my beautiful CC. 💞 My style seems to have changed since my Misscookas days! No more babies in herb gardens over here ha ha ha. And YOU are a brilliant writer, so maybe it’s a case of ‘it takes one to know one’! ☺️

I still see the style…the beauty in the writing. I loved Misscookas! But this is certainly you coming into your own 🙂 And ty. But anyone would be remiss in not seeing seeing your talent. I saw it before…just pure beauty and joy..but now so much deeper in different directions. Can’t wait to catch up on what I missed!
