Soft and Quiet

The time for soft and quiet has come.

Rest.

Lay down the bones of sorrows past.

Yesterday is a hush,

no longer ringing her angry bell.

She knows it true.

The time for soft

and quiet

has come.

You’ve been on a roll for weeks now, Brooke. Lots that I love among them. “Lay down the bones of sorrows past. Yesterday…….no longer ringing her angry bell.” Great stuff. Wondering why Angry Yesterday as feminine sounds poetically right. Keith

Aww. 🙂 Thanks Keith. I’m so glad you’re still enjoying my word babies. I do love bringing them to life. ☀️🌸
