This body.
Graceful, strong, electric.
These senses unknown,
awakening with every glance,
every touch,
every moment of
this
enchanting
life.
Explosions of light beneath the skin,
and I am hooked.
And waiting for the next burst of sun
to explode
from within.
Naturally me.
Naturally a miracle
unfolding beneath the covers
of humanity’s eternal slumber.
I’m ready to fall into the land of sleep, but I had to write this and I had to write it now.
Only moments ago, as I lay in bed with my eyes closed…I saw a face on the blank screen of my mind, almost as clearly as if I were looking at it with my eyes open.
A mop of curly blonde-red hair.
A turn and a smile.
Red lipstick.
A kind, yet spunky personality.
This was a lady I had never seen or felt before in my entire life, and yet there she was.
Clear as day.
It’s not the first time I’ve experienced random flashes like this, and so the question I have to ask is: what on earth is this life?
Are these flashes of people from past lives I’ve lived? Are they deceased spirits coming to me, just to say hi? Have I seen these people on television once upon a sometime when? I honestly could only speculate at this point, but I do hope my journey is taking me to a place of understanding.
Another crazy amazing thing happened to me the other day.
For the first time in my entire life, I experienced a lucid dream: that being, I was aware I was dreaming and I was able to control the direction of my dream.
This was not a day dream.
I was asleep.
Asleep, but conscious, and asking myself what it was that I thought I should do next.
What on earth is this life, I ask you?
What on earth is this crazy, weird and wonderful life?
Right. Time to sleep.
